April 13, 2022 - This issue has been resolved.

School Library Systems + OPALS Type Field

April 11, 2022 - The request page for any materials from the school library systems in the region displays an error message. As we look into this the item type field has been turned off in order for the request functionality to work for those schools as a workaround.

This means that there is no filter for items that might normally not be included for lending. Please utilize the notes field to communicate with the lender and indicate the type (book, audiobook, etc.) of item requested.

E-books may display in results with the type field turned off -- please do not attempt to request those through the DueNorth interface.

All other libraries appear to be functioning normally so this indicates that the issue is coming from the OPALS catalog only.

We will update this post when the issue is resolved.
