DueNorth uses high-performance, user interface-independent, data model-independent meta-searching middleware featuring merging, relevance ranking, record sorting, and faceted results. It searches all the online catalogs in the Northern New York region in parallel and creates an internal, merged result set on the fly.  This means that results are always up to date.

DueNorth v. 1.5 Live

DueNorth v. 1.5 is now live and includes these exciting updates:

​For Library Staff:

  • 'Request History' renamed 'Borrower History'
  • Improved 'Request History' - Allows filtering by fill status, ILL number, and Destination Library along with a more attractive display with new library email link.
  • 'Sender History' renamed 'Lender History'
  • Improved 'Sender History' - Allows filtering by fill status, ILL number, and Destination Library along with a more attractive display with new library email link.
  • 'Find Participating Libraries' now lists a hyperlinked ILL email (only for logged-in users to prevent spam).

For System Staff:

  • Improved 'All ILL Requests' - Allows filtering by ILL number, fill status, date range, lender, borrower, and library system.
  • Improved 'System Statistics' - All reports autofill today's date if the 'End Date' is not specified.
